Career Assistant is a productivity tool designed to help users track and manage their job applications during recruitment seasons.
The Product integrates with Google services to simplify job tracking and reminders, enabling users to manage everything within their own Google account.
The Product uses the following Google APIs:
- Google Sheets API — to record, update, and manage job application data in spreadsheets;
- Google Calendar API — to create calendar events and reminders for interviews, deadlines, and other application-related tasks.
All data remains under the user’s control within their personal Google account.
2. Data Handling Principles
Career Assistant follows the principles of data minimization and local processing, ensuring maximum user privacy and security.
- No personal data collection or storage.The Product does not collect, save, or transmit any user information, documents, or records to developer-managed servers.
- All data remains within the user’s Google Account.Job application details, calendar events, and related information are stored exclusively in Google Sheets and Google Calendar.
- All processing occurs locally.All functions—such as creating or updating data—are executed within the user’s device environment. No external servers are involved.
- No unauthorized access.The Product only accesses Google data within the scopes explicitly authorized by the user and does not interact with any other Google content.
3. Authorization Scope
Upon explicit user consent, the Product requests limited Google OAuth permissions as follows:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets — used to create, view, and update job application spreadsheets.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — used to create and manage events for interviews or application deadlines.
These permissions are used solely to provide the Product’s intended functionality and are never used for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
4. Data Storage and Security
- The Product does not store any user data on developer or third-party servers.
- All records and events are securely stored within Google’s infrastructure under the user’s Google account.
- All communication with Google APIs is transmitted securely over HTTPS encryption, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
- The Product does not include any third-party trackers, ad networks, or analytics tools.
5. User Control
Users retain complete control over their data and permissions. They may:
- Revoke access to the Product anytime through Google Account Permissions;
- View, modify, or delete job application data directly in Google Sheets;
- Delete or edit reminders in Google Calendar;
- Stop using the Product at any time without affecting any existing Google data.
Once authorization is revoked, the Product will no longer have access to any Google data.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Product is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and it does not knowingly collect or process any information from minors.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date clearly indicated.
